Vintage Wood Bone Carved BIRD Bookends SAP SUCKER Birds.
Actually I'm not certain - but my first thought was Sap Sucker - due to the long pointed look. If anyone knows what this bird is - I'd love to hear from you!
They are nicely carved of some sort of animal horns - carefully curved and mounted on wooden bookends. They have realistic looking glass eyes - gives them quite a beady-eyed look!
Wood shows signs of light usage. Set together they measures 10 5/8 inches long X almost 3 inches wide X 4 1/2 inches high. Quite a conversation piece!
