Art Deco Lazy Susan Vintage Tray California USA Pottery Art Deco Lazy Susan Vintage Tray California USA Pottery.

This is the most unique serving set I have ever encountered. It measures 18 inches diameter. It is unmarked, but most likely made in Calif, Mid 20th Century 1940s or 1950s.

It is made of yummy caramel and several shades of brown, with a finish which reminds me of many Red Wing pottery pieces. The stylized handles of the lids remind me of Russel Wright designer dinnerware dishes. Stylized swirled garlands are raised, dark brown, with touches of white.

The base is a pressed wood low pedestal stand with raised edge to hold dishes in place. It holds 2 slightly curved half circle 2.5 inch deep casserole type dishes with lids, 2 comma shaped 2 inch deep bowls, and 2 other 2 inch deep bowls which fit in to complete a circle.

NO cracks, scratches, or stains to the pottery pieces. One of the odd shaped pieces has a pin head sized shallow glaze chip on one upper corner. The wooden stand does have scratches, most minor but one in center unseen area is approx 6 inches long.

It makes a great centerpiece to hold quite a variety of foods, or really unique single serving accessories.

Unique shape - Great Fall Colored table accents of Circles, Rings, Bubbles, or Dots on the table linens, party plates, cups, and napkins would complete a striking table setting!

This two tiered center handle serving plate is marked U.S.A. - 1 A 3. It is not marked Calif Pottery or with a makers name, but looks like it. Nice example of American Art Pottery from the 1940s and 1950s.

The pottery is white - gloss glazed - with a pattern of dots or bubble over-lapping each other. The removable handle (for easy storage) is gold coated and in real nice condition.

Measures 11 ½ inches diameter at bottom, 7 inches diameter at top and is 10 inches tall to top of handle.

NO chips - cracks - scratches stains. It does have over-all crazing.

If you love vintage Mid 20th Century retro décor - this is for you! It would make a lovely centerpiece holding fall leaves - flowers - and gourds. Would also be great holding Halloween or Thanksgiving treats or cookies and bars.

Charteuse glazed leaping deer - fawn - gazelle. Unmarked - white clay pottery - with look of Calif. American Art Pottery from the 1940s.

Bottom is not glazed. 4 holes on each side. Not marked.


Measures 5 1/2 inches high X 6 3/4 inches knees to back hooves X 2 1/4 inches wide.

No chips - cracks - scratches. There is some light crazing on base above the holes. One black metal speck on back legs - about pin head sized.
