It is hand-blown Cased Glass, ruby red over opal or milk white glass. Saw cut top rim and bottom fitter. IT IS NOT PAINTED.

NOTE: Unusual coloring depending on lighting. Under florescent lights, it appears almost black. In normal daytime, inside lighting it looks maroon. With bright indoor standard lighting it looks ruby red. On the lamp with light turned on, it looks red.

This shade was NOT made by Aladdin®, but was designed to fit Aladdin® brand table lamps and other lamps with 10 inch shade ring holders.
