Iridescent Milk Glass Light Fixture Lamp SHADE Rib Top
Pretty little opal glass replacement shade or Font with an iridized coating and Painted Ribbed Top. The iridescent coating gives it an Carnival Glass appearance.
The upper rim is thin ribs with orange or rust colored paint.
NO cracks.The upper rim has a few minor inside edge nicks and the fitter also has a few. Neither should show much - if at all. Age and maker uncertain.
Measures:
* 3 5/8 inches high
* 3 5/8 inch flat top diameter
* 5 1/4 inches diameter at widest
* 1 7/8 inches diameter fitter to outer edge
* Fitter neck is short - about 1/4 inch
This shade could be used to top a Boudoir - Bed or Vanity Lamp. Possible it was part of a Chandelier or Hanging type light, or a lamp font.
