Amber Depression Era Glass Tobacco Jar Kitchen Canister.
Vintage amber depression era canister with 8 columns and metal screw on lid.
Measures 7 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches diameter. Sugar or coffee size.
Condition is used. It has some nicks around the outside neck, nicks on inside upper rim, and a mfg crack on rim. The jar is clear, no stains, has the usual bubbles and straw marks in glass, and a few light usage scratches.
The lid is not original. It is tin, painted white, with the old rubber seal. Lid is worn, with tiny dents, scratches, and a little rust, but fits good.
Nice usable kitchen container, great decorative piece, or addition to a Tobacciana Collection. |
