Imperial Glass, organized in 1901, started producing Carnival Glass around 1905 and is considered one of the top five carnival glass producers along with Fenton, Dugan, Millersburg and Northwood. Production of old patterns ceased in 1930. Imperial Glass Corporation was formed in the 1930's and is still in operation today. Although they have reintroduced their carnival glass patterns, their reissues are marked to distinguish them from the early originals.
