Victorian Late Foley Shelley Dainty RFMN Trio
Shelley Late Foley Trio in the Dainty shape in the older pattern number 8295, identified as the Roses Forget-Me-Nots lithograph.
Set consists of the tea cup at 3.25 inches in diameter, 2.25 inches tall. Saucer measures 5.25 inches in diameter, tea plate is 7 inches. Rated to be in very good condition with very minor age related issues such as gold wear. All three pieces are scalloped with fan ribbing, randomly placed delicate pink roses and accented with gilt paint on the rims. Gold highlights the handle motif.
Shelley Cartouche, Late Foley England trademark dates production between 1910 - 1916. Inkstamp red Rd 272101 registered the Dainty shape in 1896. Pattern number 8295 was entered into the pattern book prior to 1896.
Designed by Rowland Morris, the Dainty shape was put into production in 1896 and was used until the takeover of the factory in 1966, making it the longest produced shape. In the 1930s, several variations to the original design were produced. The original Dainty shape was registered under the registered number 272101. The shape also has another registered number, 735121, which was used to register a variation to the plate shape. The shape of the coffee cup similar to the tall variation (but smaller). The Dainty shape was produced in breakfast, afternoon and miniature sizes. The Dainty shape was used for Badged, Second and Ideal China ware. (Reference National Shelley China Club.)

Shelley Melody Chintz Richmond Cup and Saucer
Delightful Shelley Richmond shape Melody cup and saucer in an overall random chintz of dainty yellow, pink and blue Marguerites on a pastel green ground and richly detailed with brilliant gilt trim. Interior, handle and collared foot are a solid pastel green.
Cup and saucer rated to be in near excellent condition. Shelley green inkstamp, 1945 - 1966 and the Melody Chintz cartouche.
The Richmond shape was put into production in 1938 and continued to be used until the takeover of the factory in 1966. Over its lifetime the bump in the handle became less pronounced. The shape was produced with a Gainsborough shaped handle from December 1961. Reference: National Shelley China Club.

Shelley China Pattern 10750 New York Tea Trio
Lovely Shelley Bone China trio consisting of teacup, saucer and tea plate in a stately and delicate pattern of trailing red and purple rose with branch garland on a background of silvered lace, decorated on the New York shape.
All pieces are in excellent condition with only minor gold wear on the rim. Fully back-stamped with the green Shelley mark. Registration No. 10750, 1905-1919. We currently have two trios in this stately shape and pattern.
With the shape letter H, the New York shape was first produced in 1890. It was used for two patterns on Second ware for export to New Zealand. The New York shape was put into general production between 1900 and 1927. With a large number of patterns recorded against it, the New York shape must have been popular. Vintage Shelley 293 Strand Shape Tea Trio
Superb Shelley Strand shape tea trio consisting of teacup, saucer and tea plate in the Stand shape. One of Shelley's classic patterns, the motif is one of white and pink dainty florals cascading from silvery lace. All three pieces are in near excellent condition with only minor base rubbing. Green Shelley inkstamp and hand scripted pattern number '293', circa 1937.
With the shape letter Z, the Strand shape was put into production in 1933. Although it continued to be produced until at least the mid-1940s, only a small number of patterns were applied to it.(National Shelley China Club reference).

Vintage Shelley Dainty Blue Luncheon Trio
Shelley's Dainty Blue pattern is delicately rendered, but intense in vivid blue color on crisp white porcelain ground. This three piece set consists of teacup, saucer and luncheon plate, all in excellent, well-cared for condition.
Shelley backstamp, 1945 - 1966. Pattern number 051/28. Pieces measure: 8 inch luncheon plate, 2.75 inch high teacup and 5.5 inch saucer.

Shelley for Ideal China Archway of Roses Trio
Vintage charm is reflected in Shelley's Archway of Roses pattern on their early Cambridge produced for Ideal China.
Three bone china pieces consisting of tea cup, saucer and tea plate are in near excellent condition. Superb diminuative motif of florals and formal garden archway entrance. Shape, Trademark and RD 823343, in addition to the Ideal China stamp and painted pattern number narrows production to 1937 - 1945. Rd 823343. Very good condition with minor rim rub and gilt wear.
The Cambridge shape was put into production in 1937 and was used into the 1960s. In 1954 the Cambridge shape appeared with a new handle design. This variation is sometimes called the New Cambridge shape. The Cambridge shape letter is I and it was used for Second and Ideal China ware.

Shelley Art Deco Shape Oxford Primrose Tea Trio
Springtime yellow primrose adorn this quality Shelley Bone China trio consisting of teacup, saucer and tea plate in the Art Deco Oxford shape.
Acquired from an Estate of a well cared for collection, all three pieces are in excellent condition with nary a flaw. Green Shelley backstamp dates this trio, 1925 - 1945.
With the shape letter C, the Oxford shape was registered under the registered number 795072 in 1934. The Oxford shape was put into production in 1934 and continued to be produced until at least the late 1940s. The Oxford shape was used for both Second and Ideal China wares. Reference: National Shelley China Club.

Vintage Shelley Ludlow Mold Primrose Teacup Sets
Vintage Shelley Primrose pattern teacups and saucers in the 12 flute Ludlow mold. Both cups and saucers are accented with brilliant gold trim. Rated to be in near excellent condition.
Four sets are being sold as one lot, 8 pieces. All sets have the green Shelley Fine Bone China England mark 1945 - 1966.

Shelley Heather on New Cambridge Shape Cup, Saucer
Vintage Shelley porcelain cup and saucer decorated in the lush land and riverscape pattern known as Heather, highlighted with brilliant gold rim detail and pale blue handle. Shape is referred to as Late or New Cambridge.
Vintage 1950's set is rated to be in near perfect condition with only two pin-prick sized glaze pops on the base of the saucer. Fully marked with Shelley hallmark and registration number and pattern name.
The Cambridge shape was put into production in 1937 and was used into the 1960s. In 1954 the Cambridge shape appeared with a new handle design. This variation is sometimes called the New Cambridge shape. The Cambridge shape letter is I and it was used for the Second and Ideal China factories.
