In the 1930s, several variations to the original design were produced. The original Dainty shape was registered under the registered number 272101. The shape also has another registered number, 735121, which was used to register a variation to the plate shape. The shape of the coffee cup similar to the tall variation (but smaller). The Dainty shape was produced in breakfast, afternoon and miniature sizes. The Dainty shape was used for Badged, Second and Ideal China ware. (Reference National Shelley China Club.)
