Jean Pouyat Limoges J.P.L. Schleiger #42E Vegetable Tureen
Antique Jean Pouyat Limoges France covered vegetable bowl or tureen, Schleiger Pattern #42E with rich colored magenta tinged lush roses and pale lavender vining florals on snowy white porcelain and lavish with brushed gold pierced handles and finial highlights. Delicate shell and flute embossed mold, #5 variation (star).
Bowl measures 13 inches long and 5.35 inches tall. It is in wonderful, well-cared for condition. Double ink stamped with the green under glaze J.P.over L France hallmark (1890 - 1932) and red over glaze circular script mark #7 (1900 - 1906). Pattern is shown in Mary Frank Gaston's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain, 3rd Edition, page 249, Plate 607.

Limoges Jean Pouyat Schleiger #42E Pattern Meat Platter
Antique Jean Pouyat Limoges France embossed porcelain meat platter produced and decorated at the Jean Pouyat factory in Limoges, France. Schleiger Pattern #42E with magenta hued lush rose clusters and pale lavender floral motif. Lavish brushed gold accenting on the two elegantly embossed handles. Delicate shell and flute embossed mold #5 variation (star). Matching accessory piece to our Item 0909-02.
Platter is rectangular in shape and embossed with a wide melon ribbing. Molded center to capture food juices. Platter measures 16 long by 10.5 inches wide and rated to be in well-cared for condition. Extremely minor wear in glazing, paint and gold. It is in wonderful, well-cared for condition. Double ink stamped with the green under glaze J.P.over L France hallmark (1890 - 1932) and red over glaze circular script mark #7 (1900 - 1906). Pattern is shown in Mary Frank Gaston's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain, 3rd Edition, page 249, Plate 607.

Haviland & Co. Limoges Schleiger 254 Large Platter
Lovely Haviland Limoges serving platter in superb condition. Intricate shell variation of Ranson shape, decorated with trailing sprays of petite pink flora, green vine and leaf pattern against a crisp white porcelain ground. Enhanced with sponged gold on two tiers of shell and scallop motif handles. Brushed gilt rim and vining leaf design on the inner well. Wonderful example of Victorian Era china. Believed to be Schleiger #254 pattern.
Haviland France underglaze, Mark 12 1894-1931 and Haviland & Co. with Limoges, red mark 13: 1876 - 1878 1889 - 1931. Reference Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain, Third Edition, by Mary Frank Gaston, pages 178 & 193.
Condition is near excellent. Platter measures 15.25 by 10.25 inches with a 1.75 inch well.
