Victorian Majolica Embossed and Painted Floral Cup
Dainty, diminutive and precious! We have several questions on this cutie as to its maker and whether or not it had a saucer, however for the price it would make a wonderful addition to your cabinet display of dainties. I would venture to call the bluish lavender flower a Morning Glory but I am no Botanist. It is reminiscent of Majolica in it's form and high sheen slightly lustered glaze. Extremely well defined overlapping flower petal shape with high relief blue florals, gilt leaves and vine. The paint is in excellent condition as is the gold detail. The cup is formed of broad leaves that have a cream and pale yellow paint wash effect. Ornate handle is detailed with gold. Measures 2 inches tall by 2.25 inches including the handle. Incised mark 7170 with artist hash-mark in ink. English attribution.

Wedgwood Transferware Oriental Pheasants Coffee Pot
Vintage Enoch Wedgwood enameled brown and white transfer Oriental Pheasants pattern coffee pot. High impact color splash created by enameled accents of fuscia and yellow hand applied to the transfer pattern.
Fine crazing on bottom, otherwise perfect. Pot measures 9 inches high by 9 inches from spout to applied handle's edge. Overall condition of near excellent is given to this lovely coffee pot. In fact, it appears to have been minimally, if ever, used.
