J.W. McCoy established in Roseville, Ohio in 1899. Merged with two other potteries in 1911 creating the Brush-McCoy Pottery Co. In 1925 the McCoy family sold their interest and started the Nelson McCoy Co. expanding into stoneware, earthenware and artware production. |

Vintage McCoy Embossed Birds & Berries Urn Shaped Vase
Decorative McCoy embossed Bird and Berries large vase with double 'winged' stub handles in a muted buttercup yellow glossy finish. Back has a smaller embossing of berry cluster.
Measures 8.25 inches tall with a 6 inch diameter opening. Bottom marked with embossed McCoy, Made is USA. Rated to be in Very Good condition with the following noted: Minor fine glaze crazing on bottom.

Vintage McCoy Flower Form Single Lily Vase
Highly decorative McCoy matte white finish Single Lily vase with good color and glaze.
Vase measures 8.5 inches tall by 5.5 inches wide. Embossed McCoy mark, circa 1946-1956. Condition is rated an near excellent. Minor crazing and rub wear on under surface. Produced between 1948 - 1956.
The Floral Form Line, shaped in the form of a variety of flowers, offered vase and planter shapes. This line has become one of McCoy favorites amongst collectors with each piece hand painted.

McCoy Pottery Double Tulip Flower Form vase finished in matte cream ground with hand painted raspberry petal borders, leaves in varigated shades of green and umber branch base.

Nostalgic McCoy Wishing Well Grant Me A Wish Planter
McCoy's whimsical novelty Wishing Well (Grant Me A Wish) planter with three hand decorated colors of earthy umber, gold and green under high sheen glaze. Original chain is attached to the heavy wire bucket handle. The golden hue of the well's brick is accented with umber brown. Variant shades of deep and forest green details the lush overgrown foliage of the arch represented as wood. The paint creates a realistic moss covered stone and bucket.
Superb work and painting style is exhibited on this 6.25 inch wide by 4.5 inch deep piece of art pottery. Planter stands 6.25 inches and is rated as near perfect, so be sure to consider adding it to your McCoy collection while still in it's 'undervalued' stage. Embossed McCoy USA mark, circa 1950.
