Antique Zeh Scherzer & Co, Royal Munich Wild Turkey Plate: Lovely double marked hand painted Zeh Scherzer & Co. Royal Munich Bavaria porcelain cabinet plate produced around the turn of the 20th century. Artfully detailed scene of the Wild European Turkey is enhanced with a ribbon gilt rim and scenic countryside background.

Double back stamped with the quality porcelain decorator Royal Munich mark, dating this plate circa 1908. Per Kovel's Book of Marks, 1880 - 1918. Rated as near excellent with minor gold wear and although unseen, slight roughness on the edge can be felt. Plate measures 8.5 inches.
