Belgium Embossed Gilt Pair of Vases - Art Nouveau Style Art Nouveau, Old Paris style matching urn shaped vases are ornately embossed and heavily gilt. Mirror image pair are double handled and made of winter white glossy finished semi-porcelain. Heavy brilliant gold accentuates and defines the embossed flute and scallop rim, pierced rosette motif handles, ribboned center oval medallion and base. Wonderful for complimenting the home decor', befitting the Decorative Arts Category.

Measures 5 inches high and a width of 4.25 inches. Circular green mark with Made in Belgium, red ink hand script 22734, under glaze. Under-base rims are unglazed Biscuit. Condition is extremely good for their age, with only extremely fine glaze crazing evident on the bottom rims. Circa 1910 - 1930.
