L E Smith Bittersweet Slag Glass Handkerchief Compote
Handkerchief slag compote believed to be an L.E. Smith creation of Slag Glass in their Bittersweet color, was acquired from a countryside Estate. it is free of any flaws and classified as excellent in condition.
This piece, larger in size, measuring a total of 7 inches high and a bowl of 6.5 inches in diameter, matches in color and is similar in design to compliment a smaller candy compote we are also are currently listing from this same Estate.
"Bittersweet" is rather unique in its color blends...Butterscotch colored base flows into a rich and deep burnt orange with complimenting Butterscotch accenting the handkerchief designed rim. The base is detailed as wide flower petals.

Open Petal candy compote believed to be an L.E. Smith creation of Orange Slag Glass in their Bittersweet color, was acquired from a countryside Estate. It is free of any flaws and classified as excellent in condition.
This piece, measuring 5 inches high with a bowl of 6.5 inches in diameter on a 3 inch base, matching in color and similar in design to a larger one we are currently listing from this same Estate.
"Bittersweet" is rather unique in its color blends...Butterscotch colored base flows into a rich and deep burnt orange with complimenting Butterscotch accenting the handkerchief designed rim. The base is flat cut and circular with incised line detail.
Item can be consolidated for a single shipment with the complimenting handkerchief rimmed comport.
