Homer Laughlin Best China Bird of Paradise Dinner Plate Lavish, exotic in pattern and what has become obvious, hard to find pattern of embossed and gilt Bird of Paradise Homer Laughlin dinner plates. I have been searching for months to locate the pattern name to no avail, so lets just call it Bird of Paradise!

Best China is described as having the Cavalier/Cameo shape and wide color border in a rich hunter green which frames and offsets the central pattern of embossed stark white feathering on a glazed cream white ground. Use of bold colors such as Chinese red, peacock blue, rose and a lighter shade of forest green adds high visual impact to the brilliant gold. Not only lavish in color, it is dimensional in touch.

Plate would make a gorgeous accent statement to your interior design or if you have this unusual pattern dinnerware, a very fine replacement piece which is rated to be in very good condition with no utnsil marks and only minor rubbing to the gilt rim. Measures 10.5 inch in diameter. Marked with the HLC logo and name, Best China in gold.
