Erphila Mayfair Cheery Chintz Sugar Pot & Cream Jug
Fine Bavaria porcelain sugar pot and cream jug in the Cheery Chintz pattern, Mayfair shape and imported and marketed in the U.S. by Erphila.
Mold is comprised of embossed flora relief on lower half, Cheery Chintz on the upper half. Nicely detailed and garnished with gilt painted scroll accents.
All pieces are in excellent, unblemished condition. Marked with the ER Phila red backstamp, 1925 - 1935; Mayfair, Cheery Chintz, Bavaria.

Ebeling & Reuss Erphila Sussex Pattern Chintz Sugar Bowl
Sussex Cheery Chintz pattern open sugar or nut bowl, imported by E&R Erphila and made in Germany circa 1930. The floral chintz pattern is vivid and crisp in springtime colors of fuscia, pink, blue, yellow and green on a white porcelain ground. Nicely trimmed with a band of burnished gilding on softly scalloped rim and footed base.
This delightful piece measures 2 1/8 inches high, graduating ever so slightly to a 2.75 inches wide opening.
We have rated this piece near excellent with only minimal rub wear on the underbase and gold rim. Scripted E&R and block printed ERPHILA Germany Est 1886 mark and reads "Sussex Cheery Chintz". Mark was used between 1900 - 1940.
