Vintage Millersburg Amethyst Carnival Little Flowers Bowl
Intense with radium iridescence, Amethyst carnival glass saucier or candy bowl in the Millersburg Glass mold titled Little Flowers. Mold has an 8 ruffle polished sawtooth edge. Rolled collared base with Millersburg star within marie base.
Exterior has a wide panel arch pattern. Oil slick radium flashes of blue, mid to dark amethyst, gold and a bit of green.
Finish is in superior condition with lots of flash. It is noted that there is a minute scratch and two pin-prick size loss of finish on the exterior at one of the edges of a panel. No other flaws noted. It was extremely hard to find a section of unfinished glass to determine it's color, however, to the best of our knowledge it appears to be Amethyst.
Bowl flairs outward to a 5.50 inch diameter and measures 1.75 inches tall. Dates of manufacture between 1910 - 1912.
