Bavaria Schumann Dresdener Flowers Small Pedestal Compote Vintage Schumann Bavaria Dresdener Art reticulated porcelain petite pedestal sweetmeats compote decorated in the Dresden Flowers pattern. Painted in the 'Dresden' Rococo period style with the wide rim of bowl in delicate reticulation, embellished with colorful Dresden flowers and foliage and highlighted with hand painted gold scrolls, scalloping and flourishes. Bowl, neck and foot encircled by gold. Gold feather and scroll medallions frame floral trellises.

Compote, petite in size, measures 4.5 inches tall with a 6.5 inch diameter reticulated low rim bowl with gilt decorated scalloped rim and stands on a 3.5 inch diameter foot. Green under glaze Bavaria Schumann Dresdener Art mark, dating production between 1932 - 1944. Rated to be in near excellent condition with the expected rub marks on the under-rims of the foot and bowl. Metal discoloration to the pedestal attachment bracket.
