Depending on how the light refracts off of the facets you can see colors of gold and purple within the rich brown hue. The circular frame of finely meshed gold tone metal is backed with a lavish and intricate detail stamped metal mount is tres chic and representative of high quality design. Unsigned piece. Circa 1950.
Brooch measures overall 1 5/8 inches with the stone itself measuring a full 1 inch in diameter.
