This 1960s brooch is very similar to the one pictured on p. 136 of Monica and Patricia Clements' book "Cameos: A Pocket Guide." The vintage plastic cameo, depicting Psyche, Cupid's bride, is set in an intricate two-layered gold metal frame that is accented with 6 simulated pearls. Its beauty makes up for its small size.
