This depression era glass candy container has double square windows, most of the original red paint on the wheels, the raised number 888 on the side under the windows, AND the original advertising cardboard insert in the bottom. It is in very good condition with a tiny chip on the back end of the underside of the train. There is a hairline manufacturer's flaw on the top of the cab, complete with straw marks. It is not a crack and does not go through the depth of the glass. Dark areas in the photo are due to lighting; this train is clean and clear. A serious collectible that is getting harder to find. |
