VICTORIAN LARGE BRASS THIMBLE Darndest thing I have ever seen. Purchased this out of a home over 35 years ago, and never got around to researching it. Stands 1-5/8" tall x 1-1/4" wide base. It is a sieve on the sides . Patent dated Novermer 20, 1884, March 1905 (24.96 underneath) February 28, 1905
Could be an advertising piece for thimble company. This is a most unusual piece to have in any collection
