This original postcard is from the 1933 Century Of Progress (Chicago World's Fair) which was held in Chicago. It is in very good condition but is stained on the back in the lower corner and the front features the "Hall of Science". The reverse side features a postcard format, which is unused and a paragraph that says "Notice the carillon-equipped tower, the rostrum on the right, the decorated cloth banner which serves as a background for the speaker, the three levels on which structure is built & the entrance to the medical exhibit at the lower level. the Hall of Science is 700 by 400 feet. At night it is brilliantly illuminated by indirect & fluctuating colored flood lights. This structure is located at Sixteenth St. & the Lake, with part of the building extending directly across Leif Erikson Drive-Chicago's famous waterfront boulevard" and measures approx. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2".
