Vintage Indian and Bear Bank Great mechanical bank of an American Indian and standing bear. The info. that follows is from Hobbies Magazine for Collectors-August 1966. One of 3 known mechanical banks that have an Indian as part of their subject matter. The Indian is exceptionally detailed with a feather headdress, tomahawk in his belt, buckskin trousers. He should have a set of feathers down his back but they are missing from this particular bank. In the last image you can see the holes on the Indians back that it fit in. This was a common loss for 2 reasons: 1) They were not too securely fastened to begin with and 2) were fragile and subject to easy breakage. 10 1/2" long x 7 3/4" tall x 3 1/4" wide.
