Made by Muriel Josef George circa 1960's. Beautiful hand painted details including lots of gold trim. Signature black eyes and life like faces that made Josef the top of the line.

Josef Originals~Girl in Pink Cutting Cake~Leslie This is a wonderful series and very hard to find. The only other one I have seen is "Laurie".

*This is "Leslie" or "Girl in Pink cutting cake" She is just darling in her pink dress with flowers and gold bow cutting a pink cake with a gold knife. The table has a white cloth trimmed in gold and the signature raised pink rose. She is 6 inches tall. Very good condition with no chips cracks crazing or repairs except the bow in her hair which is broken off in the back (please see the picture) This does not detract from display from the front and she is still a lovely addition to any collection. Valued at $55. She has the hand painted details Josef's are known for including lots of gold trim and the life like faces with the black eyes. Colors are still bright. Cherubs on Hearts~Needles and Pins~Rare These little cuties from the "Cherubs on Hearts" series are just too darling. Each pink heart shaped box is adorned with things to be stored inside. Each has an adorable little cherub sitting atop with gold tipped wings. Look at that angelic face. Who could resist her? Part of the "Boudoir Bath and Beyond" collection made by Muriel Josef George circa 1960. They have the wonderful handpainted detailing and gold trim. Each has gold lettering on the side to show what their use is.

~Valued at $90.00 but they are worth much more because they are extremely HTF!
*This is the "Needles and Pins" box as it says on the side in gold lettering.
*Adorned with a tape measure and gold pins (the one standing up is still there which is very rare as they have usually broken off) She is so cute! Any woman would love these in her boudoir!
~3.5 inches high.
~Very good condition with no cracks crazing or repairs. Just one pin size chip on the edge of her left wing which could easily be painted over with gold and doesn't detract from display. Colors are still vivid. Pictures don't do her justice.

~Has the original black & gold "Josef Originals" and "Japan" stickers.

Josef Originals~Girl Soap Dish~Rare One of the cutest bath collections of the era. There are Soap Dishes, Pin Trays, Pin Boxes and Lipstick Holders in green, aqua, pink and lavendar all with the cute little blonde girl sitting atop. There are other series such as the "Sprite" and "Mermaid" collections as well. All just too cute!

*This is the "Girl Soap Dish" in aqua. Gold lettering on her skirt says "Your Soap Please" Valued at $50. She is 3.5 inches tall. Excellent condition with no chips cracks crazing or repairs. Colors are still bright and beautiful (much better than in the pictures) *Printed on the bottom "Josef Originals ©" inside a pallet shape. Also has the original black & gold "Japan" sticker. I just love this series and like most Josef's they are getting hard to find!.
