Sprite Girl~Pin Tray in Beige~Rare These little Sprite girls are just darling. Part of the "Boudoir Bath and Beyond" collection made by Muriel Josef George circa 1960. They rest atop or beside different bath accessories such as pin trays, soap dishes and lipstick holders. They come in beige, pink, blue and purple. They have wonderful handpainted detailing and are lavished with gold trim. Who could resist them?

Josef Originals~Lipstick Holder~Lavendar~HTF One of the cutest bath collections of the era. There are Soap Dishes, Pin Trays, Pin Boxes and Lipstick Holders in green, aqua, pink and lavendar all with the cute little blonde girl sitting atop. There are other series such as the "Sprite" and "Mermaid" collections as well. All just too cute!

Josef Originals Fuzzy Wazzy Christmas Candle Holder Adorable little guy from "Those Fabulous Fuzzies" collection made by Muriel Josef George circa 1970. He is a "Fuzzy Wazzy" Christmas figure with the glass eyes and cute little pink mouth. He has a holly flower for a hat & is holding a ceramic candle holder that looks like a bag for Christmas goodies. He is a petite 2 inches tall and in Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Black & gold sticker on the bottom says "Josef GG Originals Japan". Would make a great decoration or stocking stuffer. Josef Originals~Christmas Morning~Rare Set of 3~ Adorable vintage set of 3 little boys who waited all night for "Christmas Morning". Made by Muriel Josef George & pictured in white pajamas in the JO book "Charming Figurines" page 98. Valued at $70-$75 a pair. Finding all 3 of these little cuties together is rare! HTF in red pajamas. Wonderful hand painted detailing including plenty of gold trim. 4 inches high & in Excellent condition with no chips cracks or crazing. A small amount of red paint loss on back of the boy w/stocking (common with red cold paint). Black eyes. Great stocking stuffers as a gift or for a terrific Christmas display! Josef Originals Mouse~Merry Xmas~ Adorable little guy "Merry Xmas" Made by Muriel Josef George and in the same series pictured in the JO book "Charming Figurines" page 113 (Book #1)valued at $10-$20. Apprx 2 3/4 inches high & in Excellent condition no chips cracks or crazing. He has his black & gold Korea sitcker on the bottom. Great stocking stuffer or for a great Christmas display!

Josef Originals Fuzzy Christmas Kittens Both are from the "Fabulous Fuzzies" collection circa 1970s & early 1980s. Kitten with tree is 2 3/4 inches high & 3 inches across. Has Josef Original sticker on the bottom and the original Merry Christmas hang tag with 1978 written on the back. Kitten with Santa hat is 2 inches tall & 3 inches across & also has the original hang tag with 1977 on the back. Wonderful for display or as a stocking stuffers. Very nice condition except 2 of the berries missing from the tree. Please see my other goodies as well. Thanks for looking ^..^~
 

Vintage Josef Originals~Hanging Bell Girl with Wreath~ Just adorable is all I can say about this Christmas angel made by Muriel Josef George. She is from the "Hanging Bell Girl" series circa 1976. There are three different bells in different poses.

~She is 4 inches tall and has beautiful hand painted details including gold tipped wings.
~Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Bell clapper is perfect and works. There is a hole through her bow in the back with a gold thread attached for hanging her on the tree.
~Original black & gold "Josef Origials" sticker on back and "Japan sticker inside.

Like many Josef series they depict everyday life. Each girl represents her "Day of the Week" and is doing the kind of task performed on that day. Each one came in various colors. They are all 3.5 inches tall. The hand painted detailing with lots of gold trim and the life like faces with black eyes and signature raised pink roses make these little cuties a must have. These are truly "Hard to Find" as all of the older California Josef's are these days. Pictured in the following Josef Original books:

*This is "Sunday" which of course is "Church Day". She is dressed in deep rose pink with a white collar and has her hymn book in front of her and is joyfully singing. The signature spaghetti trimmed pink roses adorn her dress and hair.

In one had she holds a sock darner and a needle in the other. You can see and feel the needle on top & bottom although it was probably longer originally. The signature pink rose with gold spaghetti trim adorn her dress and hair. Lots of gold trim. I have to admit I have never looked like that while mending!

Josef Originals~Doll of the Month~May Cute series with each little figurine representing her birth month made by Muriel Josef George circa 1960's & pictured on page 48-49 in the JO "Charming Figurines" book. Valued at $50-$55. This is May all dressed up in pink holding a bouquet of roses. Black eyes. 3 1/2 inches tall and in Excellent condition no chips cracks or crazing. Notice the handpainted detail and beautiful gold trim that Josef's are known for. Bottom is incised with Josef Originals and the C in a circle. A great addition or start to collecting all 12! Josef Original~Mushrooms~May This series of "Dolls of the Month" or "Mushrooms" as collectors refer to them because of their shape are one of the most charming older California series made by Muriel Josef George circa 1945-1962. Of course they have all of the beautifully hand painted detailing and life like faces as well as the signature black eyes and abundant gold trim that made Josef's #1 then and now. Pictured in the Josef Original book "Charming Figurines" pages 28-29.
~Valued at $40 they are of course HTF
as all "Early California" figures are.
*This is "May" and she is carrying her little May basket to collect flowers. She is dressed in green and wearing a little hat with flowers.

~Excellent vintage condition with no chips cracks or repairs. Just the normal crazing due to her age (shhhh).

~She has her original Black & Gold "Josef Originals California" sticker which is partially gone.
