Lefton 489 Angel~August Made by Geo Z Lefton circa 1950 and pictured in the "Lefton China" book by Ruth McCarthy on pages 121-122. Lefton was known for the beautifully hand painted detailing. These sweet little 4 inch porcelain angels depict their Zodiac sign which is written in gold lettering at the bottom of their dresses and carry a bouquet of their birth month flowers and have their birthstone on their dress. Each has a gold halo and wonderful gold tipped wings. Just look at that sweet little face! **This is August with a bouquet of Poppies and a Peridot birthstone on her dress.
