Made by Muriel Josef George and pictured in the Josef Originals book "Charming Figurines" on pages 43-45. Valued at $35-$40 each. All are hand painted and have black eyes and gold trim. This is the cute little Birthday Girl #4. She is so cute holding her watering can ready to help in the garden. She stands 3.5 inches tall and is incised on the bottom "Josef Originals" in script & has the © indicating she is Vintage & made in California. She also has her original black & gold JO & Japan stickers. Hang tag says "A Josef Original" on the front and "The Fourth Year" on the back. Poem inside reads:
You know what? I'm FOUR years old!
And growing fast, So I'm told.
The pencil mark upon the wall,
Now shows that I am very tall!
