Made by Muriel Josef George and pictured in the Josef Originals book "Charming Figurines" on pages 43-45. Valued at $40 each. All are hand painted and have black eyes and gold trim. This is the cute little Birthday Girl #7. She is so cute lovingly holding her favorite dolly. Notice the detail even on the baby dolls face! She stands 4.25 inches tall and is incised on the bottom "Josef Originals" in script & has the © indicating she is Vintage & made in California. She also has her original black & gold JO sticker. Hang tag says "A Josef Original" on the front and "The Seventh Year" on the back. Poem inside reads:
I had a Birthday once again,
It seems so long since they began!
Last year was SIX but now I'm SEVEN
In four more years I'll be eleven!
