Darling series "Favorite Sayings" created by Muriel Josef George circa 1950-1960's as pictured in the Josef Originals book "Charming Figurines" on pages 53-54. Book value is $50-$55. **This is "Shy as a Violet" She is in a violet dress with violets sprinkled on it and lots of gold accents. She is holding a bouqet of violets too. Her beautiful little face with the black eyes and all of the hand painted details Josef's are known for including all of the gold trim make her a wonderful addition to any collection. There are 12 in her series and you can collect them all. I did. She is 4 inches tall and in Excellent condition with no chips cracks or repairs. **She has all three of her original gold & black stickers. "Shy as a Violet" "Josef Originals" and "Japan" She is incised on the bottom in script "Josef Originals" with the © incicating California. Please see all pictures and check out my other goodies.
