Wonderful vintage original Early Provincial "Roosters and Roses" hand painted pattern made by UCAGCO circa 1950's. The collection is pictured in the book "PY/Miyao Fun Kitchen Collectibles by Belinda Evans" on pages 48-73.
*This is the "Large Condiment Jar"
~The plate is 6 inches across and the jar is 5 inces tall.
~Excellent condition with no chips cracks crazing or repairs.
~Marked on bottom "UCAGCO CHINA MADE IN JAPAN" and has the Ucagco symbol. ~Colors are still bright and beautiful. ~Marked on bottom "Early Provincial Underglaze Hand Painted Japan"
These are highly collectible and becoming very Hard to Find.
