A wonderful and very popular series with each girl representing their country. 18 were made originally by Muriel Josef George in 1959. 11 more were added over the years including 2 Hawaii's and 2 Ireland's. The hand painted detailing including lots of gold trim as well as the life like faces Josef Originals are famous for make these little ones irresistible. Very special when all are displayed together just like "It's a Small World" at Disneyland!

*This is "Mexico" She has black eyes and is dressed in her native attire. ~She is 3.5 inches tall.
*Excellent condition with no chips cracks or repairs.
*She has her original black & gold "Japan" sticker. Also stamped inside a paint pallet shape on the bottom "Josef Originals ©"
