Sweet little series of adorable "Flower Girls" Each girl is holding her flower and wearing it as her hat. You can't resist these cuties! Made by Muriel Josef George circa 1975 and pictured in all the following Josef Original books.

*This is "Rose" She is dressed in peach and has two butterfies on her skirt. She is 4 inches tall. Excellent condition with no chips cracks crazing or repairs. Lots of hand painted detailing including the gold trim and of course the black eyes. Colors are still bright and beautiful (much better than in the pictures) *Incised on the bottom with "Josef Originals ©" She has her original black & gold stickers "Josef Originals" & "Japan" as well as her original Hang Tag which reads:
ROSE
She's Queen of the garden
Her highness by birth
A rose couldn't be richer
In beauty or worth.
I just love this series and like most Josef's they are getting hard to find!. *She would make a terrific addition to your collection or a perfect start. I have all 6 Flower Girls. Please see all pictures & check out my other goodies. Thanks for looking ^..^~
