Manufacturer: Josef These little cuties are quite different from the Erich Stauffer "Hummel like" figurines I have listed here in my shop. These look very much like Josef Originals which were the most popular figurines of their era circa 1940s-1970's.

| Many other companies made look alikes but these are really the best I have seen. Not a lot is known about Erich Stauffer other than he designed figures for many different companies. *This one is really HTF. She is all dressed in green with raised pink roses & gold leaves on her skirt. She is holding a frying pan in one hand and a spatula in the other. She has a raised pink rose atop the gold bow in her hair. Notice all of the gold trim and look at the darling little gold shoe peeking out from under her dress. Her face is beautiful and she has black eyelashes. A great addition to your collection! She is 5 inches tall and in Excellent condition with no chips cracks crazing or repairs. There are a couple of rough spots in the paint on the skillet & one in her hair that could be manufacturing flaws. Nothing that really detracts from her beauty on display. Colors are bright and beautiful. Marked on the bottom: "44/1" with the crossed arrows authentic Stauffer designed figures have. Also has the original green & gold sticker "Original Arnart Creation Japan" There is an original silver sticker that should read "Stauffer Originals" on her skirt however it is quite worn. Please see all pictures and check out my other goodies. Thanks for looking ^..^~ |
