These little Sprite girls are just darling. Part of the "Boudoir Bath and Beyond" collection made by Muriel Josef George circa 1960. They rest atop or beside different bath accessories such as pin trays, soap dishes and lipstick holders. They come in beige, pink, blue and purple. They have wonderful handpainted detailing and are lavished with gold trim. Who could resist them?
~Pictured in the Josef Original book:
"Figurines of Muriel Josef George" on pages 66-68.
~Valued at $95.00 but are worth much more because they are extremely HTF!
*This is the "Pin Tray" in beige.
She is resting beside the tray. Notice the little gold claw feet.
~2.75 inches high.
~Excellent condition with no chips cracks crazing or repairs. Colors are still vivid. Pictures don't do her justice.
~Stamped "Josef Originals ©" on the bottom.
~Has the original black & gold "Josef Originals" and "Japan" stickers.
