Darling little series each with their own birthday number beside them. Each year is a little taller than the last just like in real life. Made by Muriel Josef George circa 1960's. Beautiful hand painted details including lots of gold trim.

*This is "Birthday Girl #10" She is holding a book titled "My Hero". Obviously waiting for her prince to come along.
~She is 5 inches tall.

~She also has her original black & gold "Josef Originals" and "Japan" stickers.
~Original Hang Tag says "A Josef Original" on the front & "The Tenth Year" on the back. Poem reads:
TEN's not "big"
And not a "tot"
I really think of this a lot.
But it remains a mystery.
Too old for dolls, Too young for tea.
