"You're an Angel" "Because" is the theme for this series and each angel has her own reason. This is just a delightful series in every way. They may well have been given as gifts for their "Because". Each angel has gold tipped wings. The hand painted details including gold trim and life like faces with black eyes along with beautiful dresses and hair-do's adorned with gold bows and the signature raised roses make them irresistible! Made by Muriel Josef George circa 1960 they are highly sought after and hard to find.
*This is "You're an Angel for Praying" She has a golden halo and her hands are clasped under her chin. Is she saying a prayer for someone dear?
