This is the adorable and fun little series "Nursery Rhymes" from the "Joys of Childhood to Designs of Elegance" collection. Designed by Muriel Josef George herself circa 1960's during the "Designed in California - Made in Japan" years.

I have been collecting Josefs for years and have only seen a few of these cuties. The hand painted detailing including all of the gold trim is wonderful and the life like faces Josefs are known for make you almost think they are real. Notice the little gold shoes peeking out from under their dresses, just too cute! Each one is darling alone and together they are priceless!

~Valued at $65 in the old price guide but she is "Very Hard to Find" **There is another one currently online priced at $375!
~She is 4 inches tall
~She is wearing a bonnet with a pink flower and has a spray of blue flowers with gold leaves and gold trim around her white apron and dress. Just too cute to resist!
~Excellent vintage condition with no chips cracks or repairs. Colors are still vivid. Pictures don't do her justice!
~She has her original black & gold "Josef Originals" sticker on the side and "Japan" on the bottom
~Stamped on the bottom inside a pallet shape "Josef Originals ©"
