One of the most adorable little figural sets that were so popular in the mid century era. "Cabbage Cuties" also called "Cissy Caggage" in Lefton's 1964 catalog. Seven items are pictured in the catalog however I know of one more making it 8. They are numbered in the 2120 range on the bottom of each item. The set of 7 items pictured includes a Cookie Jar, Tea Pot, Sugar bowl, Creamer, 8 inch dish, Salt & Pepper and a Spoon Rest. There is also a Jam Jar. Made by the George Z Lefton company circa 1950-1960's this is a Very Hard To Find collection!. I bought this one several years ago and haven't seen another piece since. Cissy is an adorable little blonde girl adorned in a cabbage bonnet sitting atop each piece except of course the creamer which is open. The hand painted detailing is beautiful and her little face is so life like who could resist her? *This listing is for the "Creamer" ~3 inches tall. ~Excellent vintage condition with no cracks crazing or repairs. There is one tiny fleabite or rought spot on bottom edge of pouring spout I almost missed and can't get to show in a picture. Doesn't detract from display at all. *Marked on bottom with the number "2127" and has the original red & silver sticker that reads: "Lefton's REG US PAT OFF EXCLUSIVES JAPAN" Colors are still bright and beautiful.
