Some have spaghetti trim with diamonds and some a generous sprinkling of gold across their dress. Some have halos which make them even more desirable. All of the gold accents including the gold tipped wings and little gold shoes peeking out is what makes them so appealing. Also just look at that little face. Who could resist? ~Made by George Z Lefton circa 1950's ~Pictured in the "Lefton China Old and New" book by Ruth McCarthy on pages 33-36. *This is the "October" angel. She is all ready for Halloween carrying the pumpkin she carved. ~She is in Excellent condition with no chips cracks or repairs. Just the normal age crazing due to her vintage age. She has all of her rhinestones in tact! *There is a flat spot on the edge of her right wing that is painted over so it may be a manufacturing flaw. ~Marked on the bottom "1987J © Geo Z Lefton 1957" (The 1957 is the year she was made) ~She is perfect for the birthday girl or the angel collector. ~Please see all pictures and check out my other 1987J's and other goodies. Thanks for looking ^..^~ |
