Manufacturer: Josef Originals
Wonderfully unique Early California series designed by Muriel Josef George circa 1945. Each "Pedestal Girl" is standing on a pedestal (the only series ever on a pedestal) Each girl has her own name and personality. They were also made in different colors. I am not sure if they were fashioned as Days of the Week or Month girls like so many of the Josefs were but they do each carry something such as a bible or an apple. They have a delicate beauty and such life like faces with the hand painted detail and gold trim Josef is famous for. Simply irresistible!
*This is "Gabrielle" *Her name is not mentioned in the reference book it just says Girl in Green w/Bible but a very nice person emailed me that her name is Gabrielle. She is dressed in a lovely green outfit with matching bonnet all adorned in gold with the raised pink roses. She is clutching a bible close to her heart.

~Very hard to find especially in Excellent condition*
~She is 5.5 inches tall
~Excellent Vintage condition with no chips cracks or repairs. Just a little crazing (due to her age...shhhh)
