1880s Original Pencil Art- Three Cute Baby Chicks In Nest
We have uncovered some wonderful ORIGINAL ANTIQUE VICTORIAN collectibles that were created by a talented person. Here is a wonderful expression of someone's ORIGINAL PENCIL DRAWN ARTWORK. Is from the late 1800's stored in an antique victorian book. (Can see the darkened images from age of items that were on the other page, which happens with old books sometimes.)
Is a pencil drawn illustration of three tiny baby chicks, baby birds seeming to fight over a blade of grass. Nice detailing. We have photographed this picture with a gold trimmed matte to show you ways that you can frame and matte this nice antique drawing.
Measures 8-1/2 inches wide by 11-1/4 inches high. You can see obviously see the aging of this higher quality thicker bond paper. Can trim this picture down to the main print ~ that would measure 5" W x 7-3/4" H. Frame this in a nice period frame for that Victorian decor. Beautiful ONE-OF-A-KIND item. BIG GAME - CHARLES DANA GIBSON-Illustrated Antique print
We have obtained some wonderful antique prints that was stored in an old Victorian's home attic. These were ART SUPPLEMENTS to various publishing firms that were specially run. FABULOUS ARTWORK BY THE FAMOUS ILLUSTRATOR: CHARLES DANA GIBSON. Condition VARIES and is pretty good for their age. They date to the VERY early 1900's. They either have edge wear, tears, rips, stains,paper thinning from taking out of book. (Please view our photos on their condition. Ask any questions, these 100 year old paper empherma is still very collectible and buying AS-IS.

Kind of a fantasy-type picture of little CUPID, with his bow-and-arrow, loving GIBSON girl kneeling on the beach. Measures 12-1/2" W x 8-1/4" H. Cotton-type medium paper. Is still white in context compared to the others we have listed.
For it's age, it is a true beauty. Great collectors of Victorian items will realize it's potential. It could be framed to it's original grandeur to enjoy it for another hundred years.

1800sANTIQUE BLACK GESSO FRME-MEDAIRY-SPRING
LOVELY ANTIQUE ILLUSTRATION WITH ORIGINAL BLACK WOOD GESSO CIVAL WAR FRAME. LOVELY PICTURE TITLED: SPRING. SIGNED IN LOWER RIGHT CORNER: F.S. MEDAIRY. (I believe this artist did a series of nature landscapes with the four seasons.)
STUNNING EXAMPLE OF HIS HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER WORKS. BEAUTIFUL VISIONS OF NATURE AT IT'S FINEST. SPRING TIME... Calming color hues of blues, browns, greens, yellows, grays and soft pinks. A lovely stream of blue water in the foreground with rocks and high plants. In the background beautiful trees just budding into their new leaves. And of course, the gorgeous grouping of pink floral trees adding a contrasting coloring.
Not certain if this is just an 1894 chromolithograph print or IF it is a watercolor on paper. The coloring is very soft and you can see distintive lines. Please judge for yourselves. Picture is in NEAR-EXCELLENT CONDITION. We have shown a small 3/4 inch tear from the upper top edge, that was taped up in the back. Was produced on a thick quality paper stock. Wonderfully illustrated and beautifully VIBRANT and VIVID is this nice antique picture.
Very complimentary antique black painted frame over gold highlighing. Measures 14-1/2 inches wide by 17-1/2 inches high. Picture measures 11 inches wide by 14-1/8 inches high. Has its original wiring ready to hang on your walls. We replaced the fragile back cardboard.

Lovely ORIGINAL ANTIQUE FRAMED PICTURE OF AN ALLURING ART DECO LADY WITH BEAUTIFUL PURPLE VIOLETS. Illustration by HENRY HUTT,(Born Chicago, 1875)~An artist whom penned numerous illustrations for The Saturday Evening Post, LIFE and Century Magazines. Was among turn-of-the-century artists whom specialized in drawing and painting American women. Hutt rnaked with Harrison Fisher, Howard Chandler Christy and Charles Dana Gibson in popularity, and this rendering of one of the * HENRY HUTT GIRLS * shows why. Taken from ~She Loves Me~ by Henry Hutt (1911) and on high quality, still-glossy, stiff card-stock paper, free of any moisture damage. Vibrant colors ~ STUNNING BEAUTY, MEMORIES OF A KISS. Framed in an Antique Gesso Over Wood Dark Burgundy Color Oval Frame. Detailing with a gold border of beading. In four points on the frame appears to be berries and leaves, stained a soft reddish hue. ORIGINAL OLD GLASS, OLD brown kraft paper backing with WIRING, READY TO HANG UP. (Frame has the normal age wear, scratches,~AS SHOWN.) Lovely frame in itself. Measures 12 inches wide by 14 inches high. The picture size is square and measures 8x10.
