Lovely Cut Glass Vintage Candy Dish
Lovely elegant looking vintage covered berry dish / candy dish that would display nicely. Has a nicely sized round handle at the top of lid. Cut glass pattern looks like long sprays of ferns and long sprays of a cut flower beside it decorated on the lid. On the three legged base is most detailed long sprays of open flowers that is in a more deeply cut diagonal design. At the very center is a six pointed star that is flat on the inside, and on the outside, underneath the bottoms the star is cut deeply and has a frosted appearance in the glass. Nice detailing. The lid fits just inside the bottom piece, by viewing it from the side it appears like a decorative band around the middle. Sits snug just fine. This is how we purchased it at an estate auction.
EXCELLENT CONDITION, NO cracks, chips, nicks, NO hairlines. Measures 6-1/4" H, 6-1/4 in diameter.
