metal cannisters
This is a really great set of very old metal kitchen cannisters. These were very popular in the 1940s and 1950s. A wonderful addition to that country shabby kitchen.
The main background color is a soft creamy soft yellow butter, (3) smaller ones, the larger has lighten to a more of a white,(but where the lid fits is still the soft yellowish coloring.) Lovely design of fruit, red apples, yellow pear and blue grapes with greenery.
These cannisters are in really good condition for their age. The three smaller ones have no major dents or scratches. The larger one has a few scratches. All have some metal oxidation and some rusting, the larger the lesser. Please see photos we have taken. Would make a great display item for your kitchen, or can be touched up a bit w/metal cleaner. Overall, they make a great presentation.
The largest one measures 7"H, 7" across.
The next one measures 6-3/4"H, 6" in diameter. The next 6-1/2"H, 5" in diameter. The smallest 5-1/2"H, 4-1/4" in diameter.

Vintage Toleware Handled Pail, Lovely HP Flowers
Vintage piece of lovely handpainted TOLEWARE that is a long handled pail. Is a carmel colored background with accents of greens. Both sides of the pail is a lovely design of a white flower with a red center. Is artist signed underneath.
Measures 6-1/4 inch in diameter, 4 inches high, handle is an extra 4 inches long.
In really very good vintage conditon. Is slightly pitted in the metal on the handle, slightly pushed in on edge by handle. Just the normal minor scratches. The painted floral designs are perfect. Pail will display nicely in your toleware collection.
