Gorgeous MADEIRA Tblclth-White Organdy,Embr.BUTTERFLYS Lovely designed MADEIRA tablecloth that is so elegant, it would add charm to your holiday decorating. Is on white organdy background in a 36"diameter tablecloth. Could be used as a luncheon cloth or would look lovely as a table topper. Lovely linen most likely dates to around the 1930's-1940's. Gorgeous applied workmanship on this white beautiful hand embroidered flowers, then of course those large BUTTERFLYS, FOUR of them! In between the butterflys is an intricate design of cabbage roses and rose buds. Scalloped edging, flawless tiny buttonhole stitching, lots of thickly padded stitching and french knots. This lovely does have a few flaws, two small areas by the edges have stains,(have not tried to soak them), and as you can see pictured a few tiny holes in the center and some by the rose detailing. If used as a topper over a white linen, you most likely won't see that flaw. Even with that, this is still a true beauty! Fine workmanship. Is clean and pressed, ready for you to enjoy. Each corner has an embroidered tall vase with crocheted lace designed flowers. Then two tiny button hole stitch design opposite of each other. The edge is done with cutworking. Lovely vintage LINEN/COTTON GUEST HAND TOWEL done expertly by hand in embroidery and cutout designs. Great cotton candy pink background, then obviously the simple designed focal point is the FLORIDA sailboat and palm trees. In Pristine condition. Nicely done near the bottom some expert cutworking. The edges are all stitched for added strength. Measures 11"W x 18"L. Would look lovely in a guest bathroom.

Lovely Embroidered ROSES Fabric,Pillow Cover,Wall Decor Lovely estate find in this nicely made piece of fabric that has Embroidered ROSES. Nice seafoam blue cotton linen fabric as the background. Large cabbage rose in muliple hues of tangerine oranges and reds on the left. On the right a large one in hues of reds, pinks and some off tangerine orange. Above is a smaller pink hues rose, and then a rose bud at the top that shows more pinks and maroons. Another but on the left side. All surrounded by lots of the rose leaves.

This cloth would be used for many craft items. Can be made into a pillow, a wall hanging, or placed into a frame.

Overall the cloth measures approx. 18 inches wide by 12 inches high. The edges appear to have been in a possible frame at some time since edges have some dried glue. The actual surface image measures 14-1/2 wide by 10-1/4 high.

VERY GOOD CONDITION. Some threads are loose but mostly at the bottom. Lovely piece for your shabby, cottage type look. I showed two photos of the back stitching. They appear to be completed in clean french knots.
