Italian Woven SeaFoam Green Tapestry Rug-Flowered Vase
Nice piece of woven vintage tapestry, still with original tag: MADE IN ITALY. Measures 12-3/4"W x 18-3/4"L,(22"L if including the 2"fringework on the ends.) Beautifully done, main focal point is an pedestal Italian vase, bouquet of flowers. Background is framed in a rich burgandy red tile motif, flowered tree branches along side. Rich seafoam green, burgandy red, butterscotch yellows, mossy greens and muted blues. Fringe nicely attached, not only sewn in long stitches, then chain-stitched along the edges. Great condition for this old piece. Could be cleaned to freshen up the colors a bit. Could be used as a wall hanging, as an attractive table runner, or framed in a picture frame. Beautiful!
