We have been fortunate to obtain a large collection of PRISTINE vintage pin-up artwork by the artist: ERNEST CHIRIAKA. These beauties were found in a scrapbook, tucked away from light. Condition is EXCELLENT, lithograph coloring is VIBRANT and VIVID as shown.

I've been asked to come a-maying And it all sounds very gay, But listen here, my cavalier, Distinguish well 'tween *can* and *may*.
ERNEST CHIRIAKA was hired to do artwork for ESQUIRE, (which replaced Vargas that worked in the late 1940's), to due an entire 12 page calendar for the magazine from 1953 - 1957, a great responsibility since the calendar had continued to be the largest-selling and most popular in the world. He first created pin-ups for Esquire in 1952. He produced works that showed distinctive skin tones on his pin-ups.
Beautifully done lithograph print. Alluring Art Deco Glamour girl portrayl of Pin-Up that was so popular in the early part of the century. Lovely, sexy glamour girl, hardly clad in a sheer black teddy. Measures 11 W x 8-1/2 H. (Sorry for any glare from camera.) (Has a few scratches by the pin hole at the top, also appears to be a light surface fingernail scratch line from her suit down, as shown.) Otherwise, perfect.
