This is a nice LARGE vintage lithograph TITLED: RAIN RAIN GO AWAY. Illustrated by: F.ROTANKOVSKY. In lower left corner is marked: Simon and Schuster, Inc. and Artists and Writers Guild, Inc., Lithographed in U.S.A.
Great VIVID and VIBRANT coloring as shown. Adorable animals. A sweet little girl sitting under the protection of an oversized umbrella, her little brother on her lap, can see a cute Terrier dog by them, a chicken by the pond that is in front of their cottage home, while it is steadily raining..... Cute.
In really great condition of the print. Thicker paper stock has yellowed with age. Some slight soiling around the edges, the bottom left corner has a few tiny bites in the paper, and edges have MINOR wear/tears, age toning on the back of print from age. missing.
This is a great piece for a child's room or for any animal lover. Will frame up nicely. Measures 14-1/4 W x 18-3/4 H.
