Uphostered Tote Bag - Vintage This tote bag has it all!!! It has a zippered pocket on one side, a slit pocket on the other side. This is an unusual detail - it has a zipper at the top so that you can get into a pocket on the inside of the tote. It has a zipper across the top opening which also has a little slip button lock which is part of the zipper (key is included). The tote has a very heavy vinyl handle which is adjustable with 2 snaps so that you can hold it like a purse or over your shoulder. The fabric is a nubby uphostery type fabric. This would be a great piece to take on a plane. You could place your purse, magazines, camera or toys in it and it will fit under an airplane seat. This piece is in excellent condition and looks as though it has never been used!

Casual Beaded Purse - 1950's This plastic beaded purse is great!!! The beads are off white to white and attached in diamond shapes.(See pictures) The beads are either made of plastic or bakelite. The plastic trim around the top and closure are almost white. The purse has a very secure handle that is beaded on both sides. The inside of the purse is lined in an off-white cotton. There is a pocket on the inside of the purse that is reinforced on the outer side. The purse is marked Made in Japan. This purse seems to be in very good condition. There was a dark spot between beads on one side, less than 1/4" that I hit with a Tide Stick which did fade the small stain somewhat. The inside of the purse has a small stain toward the opening. The purse seems to be a shade darker on one side than the other from laying in a closet. This is a very unique purse that could be carried for casual or fancy.

Alligator Purse by Escort Bag - Vintage This purse is beautiful. The alligator is dark rich brown in color and has goldtone or possibly brass hardware. The inside of the purse is lined in a beige heavy vinyl type fabric. It has an accordion pleat on each side so that you can open it wide. The inside has a pocket on one side and is marked Escort Bag. The handle is also alligator on both sides and is attached with brass loops. I have found a few surface scratches that I feel sure would polish and the handle seems to have a very tiny slit where it attaches to the purse. In time that may have to be stiched for security. The bottom of the purse has 4 brass feet. (Be sure to check out the two pairs of shoes that match). This is a gorgeous, classy purse!!!

Green Suede Purse - Vintage This is a beautiful avocado green suede purse. The front has 2 pleats and a loose tab at the top. There is a goldtone or brass knob type closure and loops for strap. The inside is lined in a black heavy satin type fabric. There are two pockets on the inside. One has a zipper and the other is open. The pocket that is open is loose from the lining on both sides about 3/4" and needs to be stitched. This is a gorgeous purse and in very good condition. Maroon Suede Purse - Vintage This beautiful suede purse is deep maroon. It has a goldtone or brass edging around the entire opening of the purse and a large brass knob closure. The inside of the purse is lined in a heavy satin type fabric and has an open pocket on one side. I have found 1 very teeny little spot on one side which can probably be brushed out. Black Satin Clutch Bag by Fabrique Bag - Vintage This gorgeous bag is a ribbed matte black satin type fabric. It has a snap closure that has a faux pearl and diamond cut outer ring. The pearl has teenie scratches. The inside of the purse is lined in a black heavy satin fabric, divided into two sections, a pocket on the inside which holds a round mirror that says Fabrique, and also a pocket that is the width of the purse and starts about 1-1/2" from the opening of the bag (shown with white arrow). The mirror does show wear. This is a gorgeous purse and would dress up any outfit.

Black Satin Clutch - Vintage This bag is gorgeous. At first glimpse you would think that it is black leather, but it is actually a very matte finish satin fabric. The purse is lined in a gold satin fabric. There is a goldtone chain handle that is on a hinge so that you can carry the purse by the chain or by the purse. The inside of the purse is marked HL made in USA. It is in excellent condition.

Black Patton w/White Edging Purse - Vintage This little purse is great! It is black patton leather with white piping around the edges. It has a fancy closure of two brass balls that click through a twisted loop. The inside of the purse is lined in black satin, has a zippered pocket on one side and a slit pocket behind that. This purse is in outstanding condition and looks as if it has never been used. What a great find!!!

Blue Leatherette Clutch by JR - Vintage This little clutch bag is leatherette. I feel sure it is not real leather. It is blue with a somewhat of a shimmery and marshmallow look and feel. The inside of the purse is lined is a heavy silky cream colored fabric. Attached by a cord is a separate coin purse in the same silky fabric. It is marked JR. This is a great bag that really looks likes the '50's.

Cocoa Brown w/Tortise Trim Purse by Kadin - Vintage This is quite an unusual purse. It is dark cocoa leatherette with a curved tortise trim around the opening. There is a double strap, a snap closed section in the center with a zippered pocket inside. There is also a section for storage on each side of the snap closed portion of the purse. The purse is marked Kadin on the inside and it is lined in a black heavy satin fabric. The bottom has 4 brass feet. This purse is in excellent condition.

Hand Made Tapestry LaRegale, LTD Purse This LaRegale, LTD purse was hand made in Hong Kong and was very finely done. The fabric is a black, white and gray flowered tapestry type of fabric. It is of soft construction has a simple shape and holds its body beautifully. There is a double stitched 1" band of the same material which rings the top of the purse. The purse is zippered and has a lovely black lining with a pockt of the same material. It looks like it has never been used.

Vintage 1980's Banner House Purse This 1980's purse has the original Banner House label inside on the self pocket. This Banner House purse is in excellent condition - No marks or discolorations. The purse still has body and looks as if it were never used. It is made of a Hot Pink heavy duck/tightly woven canvas, with Kelly Green woven straps. The 3/8" wide stitched down grosgrain ribbon has a bow tied on the left and the right ends. There are 2 white grosgrain ribbons, also 3/8" wide that are stitched above and below the green ribbon, but between the handles front and back. The area with the ribbon on the front also makes a pocket. The straps can be used for a shoulder purse or as a tote type of purse. The 2 straps go all of the way from the strap itself, then stitched down the front, bottom and other side to complete the other strap. Each strap is about 20" long from the top of the purse. The purse has a velcro type closure near the top inside.

Black 'avantique' Black Vintage Clutch Purse circa 1970 This attractive black clutch purse seems to be leather or a very soft man made vinyl. It has a fine grain and is very soft. The clasp is made of a black plastic which is very thick and runs the width of the purse. The entire piece folds over the opening and clicks shut. It is very shiney black and has a pattern of 6 raised matte stripes separated by area of the glossy plastic. There is a small scrape on the leather beside the clasp from general use. The inside is a tan vinyl which does have some pencil marks.

Dark Gray 'Market Fair' Purse With Adjustable Strap This dark gray purse was Made in Korea and has a Market Fair Label from (Copyright) Market Fair, Inc., NYC is from the Late 1960's or early 1970's. It has a front flap pocket which is made with a gusset. The top flap of the purse comes down to the top of the front pocket.It is partially lined with fabric and the rest with a vinyl. The purse itself looks like a fine grain leather but is in fact man made material. The top flap has a snap closure and inside that area is a zippered vinyl pocket. There is a dark gray loop on each side of the bag which holds the 28" strap which has a silver metal slide so that the strap and be hand held or used on the shoulder. This purse is in very good condition and has been well cared for.

Camel and Maroon Tote type Banner House Purse This 1970's Banner House tote type bag is camel colored with maroon woven straps and straping also sewn across the upper front. Then there is a darker maroon ribbon 7/8" wide that has woven camel colored seashells spaced 1 inch apart. The straps can be carried by hand or put on the shoulder for a comfortable fit under your armpit area. The inside is lined with an equestrian motif. The same camel material as the purse has been sewn all the way across the inner back side. This larger pocket has been stitched so that it becomes 5 pockets. Two pockets 1 1/4" wide x 7" high, suitable for pencil or pen or maybe a nailfile. Two more pockets are 3" wide x 7" high, the size to hold sun glasses, cell phone or mirror and lipstick. The 5th pocket is 6" wide and 7" tall. It could hold many items that a woman keeps in her purse. This purse zips shut and has a goldtone zipper marked with a YKK. It shows just a very small amount of pilling which any soft material does when it has a little bit of rub.

Vintage Strap Handle 'Valerie Barad' Designer Purse The name Valerie Barad is a well known name among Handbag Designers. She moved from apparel into handbag design in the 1970's. In 1992 she envisioned integrating the design capabilities of computers into the handbag industry as an accelerated form of doing business. The Amethyst Handbag Library was created with the collaboration of Marco Farfani, a leading Italian designer; Richard Ingersoll, an American designer and a young support team of accessory designers. She is the most copied handbag designer today.
This purse is a soft bronze velvet with tiny flowers in sienna, purples and dark green stems. The zipper is nylon and has a pull finding which says ROBIN. There is a strap of the same fabric which is about 7" long and it has 7/16" crimp which attaches it to the zipper pull. The inside is lines in a chocolate brown silky fabric which has a flat pocket on 1 side. It is in perfect condition and although vintage it looks like it has never been used.
