Large Vintage Buffalo - Hand Modeled and Cast Sculpture This statue of a buffalo is larger than the other ones that I have found in my research. It came from the estate of an elderly antique store owner. Just guessing, I think that it came from the 1950's or 1960's when this type of casting material was starting to be used. It has been beautifully hand modeled by an unknown artist. The details of the buffalo fur are extraordinarly well done as well as the figure of the buffalo itself. As shown in the photos the underside of the base has been repaired but looks like it was done in with the original casting of the piece. There is a small repair to the tip of the buffalo's horn. The sculpture has been painted and air-brushed. The eyes,horns,nose and hoofs have been given a glossy appearance. The buffalo stands on a base of rutted ground with grass and bare earth as well as a broken tree limb which has been trampled by the herd.
Don't miss out on this lovely piece of early American decor. It's the only one that we have.

Hot Air Balloon - Soft Sculpture This 3D Hot Air Balloon is exceptional!
The balloon is made from 8 sections of cotton fabric with very vibrant rainbow colored stripes. It is stuffed hard and holds its shape very well. The balloon and basket is 12"L x 10"W, 32" around at the largest part. This big balloon weighs 2 pounds 2.2 ounces. There is a wicker basket hanging from the bottom attached with red satin ribbons. There is a rainbow striped cushion in the bottom of the basket. This beautifully made balloon is adorned with red satin ribbons. There is a nylon line attached to the top of the balloon, which is doubled for extra strength, and measures 27" long for hanging. This soft sculptured hot air balloon is in perfect condition. There is a tag that says HUCKLEBEARY LTD USA. (Some of the close up pictures don't show the great colors.) UP UP AND AWAY!!!
