This rosary was part of the estate jewelry which was sold quite a few years after the elderly woman's passing. She was a very devout Catholic Christian. We have no idea of the age of this item but it was probably from the 1920 - 1940 period.
Each 'bead' is actually hand carved into the delicate design. The cross itself is about 1-1/4" in length and about 7/8" in with. Joining the beads are silver colored links. Some of the links have tiny incised or impressed lines in them.
